Hexapeptide, also called pseudobutoline, is a protein substance with similar structure and properties to botox, but completely non-toxic and non-invasive. This agent is used in various types of creams and serums. It is also used alone during cosmetic procedures. These treatments involve the application of a hexapeptide substance to the outer layer of the skin. Hexapetides work similarly to Botox, incl. by blocking the secretion of neurotransmitters responsible for muscle contractions. In addition, hexapeptides contribute to the improvement of blood circulation and skin metabolism, and thus stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

 

The effects of hexapeptide treatment are not as spectacular after the first use as with botox, but their regular use contributes to a significant improvement in skin firmness and elasticity, reduces wrinkles and improves the regeneration of the epidermis and dermis.
