Cracked blood vessels is an unsightly problem that most often affects the skin on the face and legs. There are many reasons for their formation, but the most common are genetic, hormonal and environmental factors. The skin with broken capillaries requires careful care with the use of delicate cosmetics. Dermocosmetics are the most recommended because they do not contain harmful substances, and the ingredients present in them show not only care but also healing properties. These include shea butter, macadamia nut oil, vitamins (especially vitamin E), glycerin and a natural moisturizing factor, i.e. various compounds that prevent excessive loss of water from the deep layers of the skin. Cracked blood vessels on the face may appear for a variety of reasons. They are most often observed by people with couperose skin, which is characterized by the fact that blood vessels are inflexible and located shallow under the skin. In addition, it is thin and sensitive, so the redness caused by broken capillaries is visible and lasts for a long time. They can also occur in people who struggle with rosacea. It is a dermatological disease that affects adults only, and its causes are believed to be hormonal, genetic, immunological, and vasomotor disorders.
Other possible causes of broken capillaries on the skin of the face include:
- delicate, sensitive, thin and dry skin
-hypertension
-long-term exposure to sunlight
- staying in high temperature
-smoking or drinking alcohol
-using steroid ointments.
Women are more likely than men to develop broken capillaries on the skin. This problem can occur in people of any age.
